The owner of this unique home approached Rockefeller Architects to produce a environmentally friendly space that would fulfil a variety of functions. The designers decided to raise the structure off the ground on steel columns, reducing the physical foundation footprint, and creating the tree house like appearance.

The chic interior and exterior gives the home a warm, appealing aesthetic while also fitting in harmoniously with the surrounding environment. The exterior is clad in cedar, and the interior features walnut flooring and panelled walls.

  1. Love this little tree house. With a few minor adjustments this would be a great main house. I would deffinately be comfortable living in it.
