Thoreauvian Living In California

This is one tiny house that gets around; it’s been featured on lots of different websites and blogs because of its simplicity and beauty. Located in North California, the tiny house has been built in a secluded area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is owned by Diana and Michael Lorence, and measures just 12 square feet in footprint.

The home has no electricity or running hot water, in fact the only source of heat in the house is the fireplace that also doubles as a stove for cooking. While not having hot water on tap may not be everyone’s ‘cup of tea’, the home owners say that they are living a life of luxury.
