The Closet House – A Small Sophisticated Home

The Closet house is comprised of 44m2 (473 square feet) and has a total of five living spaces, two of which can be transformed by a moving cabinet/wall. The cabinet/wall functions as a bedroom wardrobe, dining table, mini bar and an integrated home cinema. The use of automation technology makes it possible to incorporate several living areas into a single space.

The kitchen and toilet contain cabinets which are flush with the walls. All lighting, both artificial and natural, and electronics are controlled via a home automation system. Energy efficiency was one of the main concerns in this build and the designers have incorporated technology in an attempt to increase efficiency. It’s apparent that the architects set out to create a small, liveable space which has the sophistication and convenience of modern home.
